1996年 Wilson Benesch 發表 ACT One 喇叭，以絕美之圓弧箱型、高階之碳纖混合材料科技、2.5 音路分音系統、並升級至接續發展的 Tactic® Driver 單體技術，成就喇叭原創智慧之標竿。

七年後 Wilson Benesch 綜合豐富的研發經歷，從極致旗艦 Bishop 喇叭，到"碳纖+合金"之新系列最高剛性賽車音箱，并新改良使用 Edge Wound 音圈技術之二代 Tactic® Driver，Wilson Benesch 濃縮經典、展現傳承，進化出喇叭造藝之極限意念 - A.C.T.。

A.C.T. 不僅是 Wilson Benesch 原 ACT 系列喇叭的絕對經典版，同時也代表 Wilson Benesch 喇叭工藝之精緻典範。

A.C.T. 運用最新之"工程箱體"技術，捨木頭而全然採用頂級碳纖材料、與金屬硬材，從前障板到內部支柱，皆由工程金屬構成，形成最為堅實的箱體結構，整體音箱重量增加 80% 而達 74Kg。

表面實木貼皮，覆以英國百年車廠 Bentley汽車頂級烤漆處理，彰顯尊榮、極致超凡。

頂級碳纖，無疑的是 A.C.T. 最主要的結構材料，這裡 WB 使用了不同但類似於 Odyssey 系列、U 段碳纖射出的方式；而原創、獨特的碳纖交織編製，是 A.C.T. 系列永遠的圖騰。

金屬合金的使用，能得最窄之前障板寬度；龐大、艱鉅的精鋼焊結鋁合金工程，形成厚達 18mm 之障板，提供新版 Tactic® Driver 最為強大的支撐。

最新版戰略單體 Tactic® Driver 的發展，同時改變音圈與振盆的質量，提昇單體的動態能力。新改良之 Tactic® Driver，採用了 Edge Wound (長側邊音圈繞製技術) 的鋁合金音圈，使得整體質量降為一半；這給了振盆強化所需的互補空間，因而整體質量(音圈加振盆)仍然降低，而無任何負面影響。

新版單體的控制力更好，動態更大，整體表現立下了嶄新的音色標竿。

分頻網路依然採用精良之低音階形式，展現 WB 校調工藝與絕美音色。所有分音元件，或鑲崁於音箱之脊柱裡、或裝置於低音箱體之底部夾層中，皆能避開音箱內任何氣流震能，所造成之干擾，而得絕對潔淨之音色。與 Chimera 相同的，A.C.T. 亦為 Bi-wiring 設計。

A.C.T. 有全新的安靜通道設計安排。首先，藉由背部脊柱，垂直下通音箱底部，這是中音單體的反射管路；此垂直升降路徑不僅可消去所有氣動噪音，往下射出的方向，更能跳開背牆反射之干擾，使得擺位更加的容易。而低音反射則以更為複雜的設計，藉由底部底板，向四週轉折散出，藉以降低高速氣流動之噪音。
